A really evocative piece Dawnithic.

I love the way you framed love as something with “side effects.” It gradually transforms those symptoms — sleeplessness, madness, wandering — into something creative and sacred.

I also felt the repetition works beautifully as a pulse throughout the piece, especially the return to “Everyone feels love’s silent claim.” It feels almost like a chant — universal and intimate at the same time.

Great writing.

Love is an affliction indeed! I adored this line:

“You had never penned a single lore,

Now you may write poetry even more”
